Hand made A0 Metar Map that pulls current weather station conditions from the web every 5 minutes to give you an overview of the weather across the country. This is a framed A0 Metar map with 1.5mm Clarity+ Acrylic which offers superior UV protection, is far safer than glass and is beautifully clear. If you would like the map to include a specific airfield just let us know. The base map is a UK and France VFR 1:1M provided under licence by Air Million. Images are of our A1 version.
By default our Metar Maps are setup to show the following conditions:
- GREEN – VFR
- BLUE – MVFR
- RED – IFR
- MAGENTA – LIFR
- BLINKING WHITE – LIGHTNING
All these colours can be changed using our new web app. The brain of the Metar Map is a Raspberry Pi Zero mini computer as standard. This little computer can only connect to 2.4GHz WiFi so it’s important to check that the WiFi where you intend to hang it or display it supports 2.4GHz (Most do!). If however you need 5GHz support then please let us know and we can include this for a small additional fee. These maps are built to order and can take up to four weeks to manufacture depending on frame, printing availability and backlog.
